This brief book is an attempt to identify the foundational issues of dispensationalism and to expose common myths concerning dispensational theology. Or to put it another way, my aim is to discuss what dispensationalism is and what it is not. I believe we can identify the core beliefs of dispensationalism. Likewise, we also can identify those issues that are often mistakenly viewed as essential to dispensationalism but in reality are not. - p. 3. In an attempt to correct common misperceptions about dispensational theology, Michael Vlach addresses six essential beliefs that are truly at the heart of dispensationalism. He also exposes five common myths about dispensationalism that are often promoted by opponents of this theology. - Back cover
